When most people think of the LA Auto Show, images of dazzling concept cars and new model debuts are usually what come to mind. But the LA Auto Show is so much more. In addition to amazing displays from all the major vehicle manufacturers, the LA Auto Show is a place to discover and purchase almost anything you can think of associated with cars, trucks, vans and SUVs.

Kentia Hall is where it's at for all the fun things one to can do to a vehicle. Here is a glimpse of what you will find at this year’s show, and be sure to check back in for updates regarding specific exhibitors.

Specialty Vehicles - One of the big draws for Kentia Hall each year is the array of specialty vehicle manufacturers. Conversion vans remain popular with families and folks with active lifestyles and Ursa Minor Vehicles and Explorer Van Company will display their latest innovations. Eco-fuler, an alternative fuel vehicle as well as Thunder Ranch, designers and fabricators of kit cars will also be at the show this year.

 

DUB Celebrity Car Showcase – Fans of the celebrity lifestyle will be excited to see the DUB Magazine Celebrity Car Showcase. This amazing exhibit will feature tricked-out vehicles from some of the hottest music and sports celebrities around.

 

Wheels, Tires & Suspension – One of the first things people notice about any vehicle are the wheels – especially here in Southern California. Stock just won’t cut it anymore, and wheel manufacturers and suppliers like Lorinser, Diablo, Center Line Wheels and Wheel Warehouse will be on hand to show you all the latest styles and sizes for cars, trucks and SUVs. Of course a set of wheels won’t do you much good without tires to match, and show sponsor Yokohama Tire will have an assortment of the round and black rubber on display in their West Hall lobby exhibit.

 

Tuners & Performance – The quest to add performance, comfort or style has even reached dealerships and manufacturers. Galpin Motors is a pioneer in this activity, and has been customizing vehicles for new car buyers since the 1960’s. Global Motorsports Group will have a display of performance for European cars.

 

Trucks, Vans & SUVs – Truck, van and SUV owners certainly aren’t left out when it comes to vehicle personalizing at the LA Auto Show. JBM Sport Truck Accessories will have a wide variety of accessories for truck owners.

 

Electronics & Technology – Satellite technology has taken the automotive world by storm these past few years. One of the first uses of satellite technology was for navigation systems like those from Alpine, available from Al & Ed’s Autosound. Listening to the radio isn’t the same anymore either, as satellite radio from XM Satellite Radio enables you to listen to the same “station” from coast to coast.

 

Appearance – Performance may be on the minds of some, but its appearance that gets you noticed on the streets and in the valet lots of LA. William Rau Restoration offers exquisite crafted woodwork on several luxury cars. In addition American Titan Auto Products will display their latest auto shifter locks.

 

Motorsports – For racing enthusiasts, there is no shortage of exhibitors in Kentia Hall to whet your appetite for the 2007 season. Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will be on hand with information about upcoming events.
