Los Angeles, CA - November 17, 2011 – Green Car Journal announced the Honda Civic Natural Gas as the highly-anticipated 2012 Green Car of the Year® winner at a press conference Thursday morning during the Los Angeles Auto Show’s press days. The cleanest running internal combustion vehicle certified by the EPA, the all-new 2012 Civic Natural Gas is the fifth generation of this alternative fuel vehicle and the only assembly-line produced natural gas passenger model manufactured for sale in the United States. It runs on a clean fuel that is almost exclusively domestically sourced and typically priced about 30 percent less than gasoline.

Open to Media Attending LA Auto Show Press Days, Nov. 16-17
LOS ANGELES - November 8, 2011 – On Thursday, Nov. 17, the Los Angeles Auto Show will host a unique opportunity for media to drive some of the most advanced electric, hybrid, high mileage and alternative-fuel vehicles on the market. Fifteen brands and more than 20 vehicles representing North American, European and Asian automakers are participating, making it the L.A. Auto Show’s largest and most diverse Green Cars Ride & Drive to date. From 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. media will be able to experience back-to-back comparison drives on city streets in real world conditions.
20 World Debuts and More than 30 North American Debuts Unveiled Nov. 16 and 17
LOS ANGELES - November 3, 2011 – The Los Angeles Auto Show will surpass 50 vehicle debuts when it opens Nov. 16 & 17 for press and Nov. 18-27 for the public. As a bright spot in the overall economy, the auto industry continues its momentum at the L.A. Show, highlighted by more than 22 manufacturer press conferences. It will be clear that automakers have invested significantly to deliver vehicles consumers want, featuring an unprecedented number of technological advancements, improved performance and design, all while decreasing carbon emissions. In addition to the 1,000 new vehicles at the show, a significant number of manufacturers have upgraded exhibit spaces and added enhanced features with more interactive content and experiences.
